Drawings Inspired by the works of Ana Aragão
Below you can take a look at an amazing job that our students have done. These are drawings inspired by Ana Aragão works who had a pleasure of visiting us some time ago. We are really proud of our talented pupils!
An artist in the school
On the 10th of January our school received a special guest, Ana Aragão. Ana is a young and talented freelance artist from Porto, who has a degree in architecture. Her works contain drawings, illustrations and paintings inspired mainly by the images of various cities. They are full of tiny details which altogether create beautiful images of streets and other urban features. Some of them make obvious references to the city of Porto and its famous places whereas others establish a connection between Porto and other cities of Portugal. The originality and creativity of the artist was appreciated by our pupils, who were really thrilled to have a chance to talk to Ana. The students of 2nd and 4th year asked her many questions and expressed their huge admiration for her drawings. It was both fun and enriching experience for the kids as they could learn about the ways in which the artist works. As a result, our creative pupils made drawings inspired by the works of Ana, that are soon to be posted on the blog.
